Elsie Straights has always been told she’s lucky, and she would like to disrespectfully disagree. Elsie’s parents support her desire to stay on property, and become a woman in Ag once she finishes high school -- that’s not something to be lucky for, that’s just basic respect, Elsie reckons. When a cousin reaches out and asks her and her best friend Dick Dyre if they could create a series of “how-to” videos for kids who want to go back to property but weren’t taught anything Ag growing up, Elsie and Dick commit. How hard can it be to teach bush girls how to change tyres or identify tools on some social media posts?

Only, it’s not just bush girls who start to follow their channel and learn from their videos. Soon, they’re getting messages from kids, teens, and young adults on the coast and in the cities, wanting advice on how to get into Australian agriculture. As Year Twelve comes to an end, do Elsie and Dick stick with their growing social media channel, or do they go their separate ways as they’d always planned?
